Study Trips to Shaolin Temple, Chen Taiji Village & Wudang Mountain

SCIC Travel Division provides a special trip for all martial arts students to discover the most important locations for Kung Fu development and training in China. These places are fundamental in the history of Chinese Martial Arts; the world-famous Shaolin Temple, the birth place of Taiji in Chen Village, and the Taoist sacred mountain of Wudang.

Admission, transportation and English speaking guides are provided at no extra cost. These tours provide an opportunity for students to deepen their knowledge of China's rich history and cultural heritage.

Shaolin Trip

The Shaolin temple is located northwest of Dengfeng County, Henan province, and is about 7 hours journey by train from Beijing.

Our students will get the chance to study Shaolin Kung Fu with the renowned Kung Fu masters for two days at the temple. There will be two groups of students: an 'external' group that focuses on hard Kung Fu training, and an 'internal' group who will learn Buddhist Qi Gong and Meditation. In addition students can also watch a Shaolin Kung Fu performance, which is a stunning display of Kung Fu, athleticism and power. Students can also visit nearby cities and other sightseeing spots, including the Temple itself and the historical Longman Caves.
