Traditional Chinese Medicine Course

The TCM Course offers martial arts students the opportunity to learn about basic Traditional Chinese Medicine after their main classes. The course focuses on the foundation for further study, accommodating total beginners to advanced level learners. TCM courses combine classes, workshops and various practice opportunities and are taught by famous professors and doctors from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.  This course covers a wide range of topics associated with Traditional Chinese Medicine, from theory and history to modern-day methods. This is the ideal starting-point for anyone embarking on a study of TCM.

This course is available in combination with Martial Arts training. Students will be study two or three times a week at SCIC Beijing's Cultural Centre. Courses are taught mostly in Chinese with an English interpreter provided, and transportation will be provided to the centre from host universities and schools.

2 pm to 3:30 pm (Tuesday and Wednesday)

Study Contents

Learn the basics of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Study different aspects of TCM through various workshops, including the Essentials of TCM, Diagnostic Methods, Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage), Acupuncture & Moxibustion, Medical Herbs, TCM Dietary Therapy and TCM Medical Qigong. Visit the top TCM University and Hospital etc.
